Melika Lemelin, born in the Eastern Townships of Quebec knew at an early age would become an Ontarian. In 2000, Melika made the move to Sudbury where she attended college and completed her financial degrees. Subsequently, she started working for Desjardins – Voyageurs Credit Union. Melika has obtained the position of Wealth Management Advisor with Desjardins, after serving as a Personal Financial Advisor from 2004 to 2019. Community projects are close to her heart and she actively participates, through her passion for music, in many fundraising activities, alongside her husband and 4 children. Other passions include playing softball, and motorcycle rides.
Q: What is the number one thing you are working toward that you haven’t yet accomplished?
A: Through music, making a difference in the community by keeping the elderly young at heart, the youth busy and raising awareness for autism and mental health.

A: Building long-term business relationships from a foundation of trust and respect.
Q: Share something about yourself that others would be surprised to know.
A: I can repair and upkeep my own vehicles. Oil changes, tire rotations, brake jobs, etc.

A: The diversity of our cultures and the strength of our francophone community. Being proud of our roots and traditions.
