Victoria was born and raised in Sudbury. Having studied communications at Laurentian University and marketing at Cambrian College, she feels fortunate to have a career in her field that she loves. Hired at Greater Sudbury Utilities (GSU) in 2009, she began to work in corporate communications in 2016, where she’s responsible for internal and external communications. She
has served as a member of many committees within GSU, as well as in the community. Victoria is an ambitious lifelong learner, enjoys being a mentor to others, and has volunteered her time to numerous local organizations. She can be found spending time with family, friends, and her partner, Andrew; hiking the Laurentian trails with her black Lab, Brandi; boating in the North
Channel; or skating on Ramsey Lake.
Q: What is the number one thing you’re working towards that you haven’t accomplished?
A: Being the best me I can be. Continual improvement is a challenge I enjoy. I think we’re all trying to live our best life, and that’s one thing I’m always working towards.

Q: What is the most rewarding part of your job?
A: Through my job, I am fortunate to interact with a broad range of positions and departments within the utility and the community, leading to a wide variety of knowledge and experiences. I am never bored and always have a story to share.
Q: Share something about yourself that others would be surprised to know.
A: I have been a landlord for just over 10 years now. I’ve met some great people and some that have taught me a few lessons about human nature.
Q: What makes you proud to be a Sudburian?
A: I’m proud to be a Sudburian because there are so many intelligent, creative, and hardworking people in our community doing such cool things. It inspires me to push myself harder
