Q: What is the number one thing you are working toward that you haven’t yet accomplished?
A: A major goal is growth. We just opened a new tech centre in downtown Sudbury and we plan to turn that into a technology hub for northern Ontario. We want to collaborate with like-minded partners and really make a positive impact on the tech sector not only for Hard-Line but other businesses big or small.
Q: What would be the theme song of your life?
A: Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd .
Q: What is the most rewarding part of your job?
A: Experiencing the different types of technology our team has developed and continues to develop. Seeing these ideas drawn up in a meeting room then turning into actual, tangible, proven technology in the field is rewarding. We are doing this with a strong emphasis on safety; which a Hard-Line priority for workers and businesses who use our tech.
Q: Share something about yourself that others would be surprised to know.
A: I am passionate about music. I play both guitar and bass. My karaoke game is quite strong.
Q: What makes you proud to be a Sudburian?
A: My family is so proud of our northern Ontario roots. We’ve established a business that is known and respected internationally for our original products in a variety of fields. The ideas, inventions, and research development at Hard-Line come from Sudbury. All of our success starts right here in Sudbury and we couldn’t be more proud to be homegrown.
