William Ferguson, 36, is vice-president, creative, with TWG Communications. A graduate of Nipissing University, he has won a number of awards including the Northern Ontario Business Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award with business partner, Theo Margaritis.

Q: What is your greatest accomplishment?
A: When you build a company from scratch, every day is a great accomplishment. I like to think I have a great many more accomplishments left to fulfil, so perhaps the "greatest" one hasn't happened yet.

Q: Who is your most valued mentor?
A: There have been many people who I admire and who I have learned from over the years. In the creative world I work in, I meet people all the time who inspire me, people whose advice I seek and whose opinions I value. It would be difficult to single out just one.

Q: What do you love most about North Bay
      and area ?
A: It takes me exactly six minutes to get home from my office. My friends and colleagues live here. I grew up in North Bay. I have been an avid volunteer and have been able to build a solid business. I can get anywhere from here, but I always look forward to coming home.

Q: What else would you like to accomplish?
A: Professionally, seizing new opportunities and building upon TWG's current success. I would love to work on more global projects. Personally, there are lots of things. For example I want to make the "50 under Fifty" list.
