Lynn Dolbeck, 37, is the co-owner of Modern College of Hairstyling & Esthetics in North Bay and Sudbury. She has been affiliated with the college since 1993. She is a founding member of the Rotaract Club of Nipissing, and is president-elect of the Rotary Club.

Q: What is your greatest accomplishment?
A: My children and my family stand out as my greatest accomplishment. My family time is very precious to me, and I continually strive to balance my professional life and personal time. Professionally, I count every student who graduates and finds successful employment as an accomplishment. My most recent accomplishments are expanding to a new location in Sudbury and purchasing a building to expand our North Bay location.

Q: Who is your most valued mentor?
A: My family has mentored me in one way or another by allowing life to happen and supporting me through my many goals.

Q: What do you love most about North Bay
      and area ?
A: Being part of Rotary has really opened my eyes to how much this city takes care of those in need.

Q: What else would you like to accomplish?
A: I have many more dreams...I would like to keep expanding my business and ensuring that in the process I keep the quality of my business intact. I want to expand on my public speaking and help to inspire women to "own who they are." I keep an open mind, love the ride, and can't wait to see what happens next.
