Claude St-Pierre, 39, is the president of Fern's Heating Inc. He established
Claude St-Pierre & Associates, which delivers technical safety and
standards-approved training, in 2005. He has lived in North Bay his entire
life, and is married with two children. He has supported many charitable and
sporting programs in the community.
is your greatest accomplishment?
A: I don't have any specific one. I like
to try different things and take on
challenges. (St-Pierre is considered
an expert in the oil burning industry
and has received certification
to instruct courses and conduct
investigations. Personally, he was
an ardent supporter of the Let's
Remember Adam Campaign to
call attention to the tragic death of
a young boy killed after stepping
down from school bus in Mattawa.)
Q: Who is your most valued mentor?
A: My parents, Fern and Lorraine
St-Pierre. (Fern's Heating was
established by his father in 1982,
and purchased by Claude in 2004.)
Q: What do you love most about North Bay
and area ?
A: I don't need a GPS to get around. I
don't have to wait an hour in traffic
to get through town. I love going
just about anywhere in town and
running into people I know. I know
exactly where I need to go to buy
things, to get something repaired, or
to get a question answered.

A: I don't set any specific goals too
far ahead of time. When I see
