Born and raised in Sudbury, Mike graduated from St. Charles College and then Laurentian University in 2005. Obtaining his honours degree in Commerce, he moved to Toronto to work for Ernst and Young LLP for three years before returning home. He settled in Garson with his wife Jody and their two children, Malik and Myla. He took over Jakubo Chartered Professional Accountants in 2016 where he continues to provide service and share his expertise with hundreds of clients. In 2014, he successfully ran for city council where he represents Ward 7 and currently chairs the city’s finance and administration committee.

A: Growing Jakubo CPAs and exploring the options that my political future may hold.

A: The fact that there are only 24 hours in a day.
