Kristofer Cacciotti is a passionate and energetic young professional in the architectural/construction management field. He works for architectural firm
3rdLine.Studio and construction management firm Polestar CM Inc., where his duties include construction management, contract administration, cost estimating, scheduling, and co-ordination. At home, Kristofer is equally busy. With the help of his beautiful wife Lesley, they manage a full house: their beautiful two-year-old daughter Zoey; their newborn baby boy, Everett — fresh off open heart surgery; their dog, Benni; and two cats, Chad and Luna. Kristofer is also a member of the Rotary Club of Sudbury Sunrisers.
Q: What’s the number one thing you are working toward that you haven’t yet accomplished?
A: Making junior partner at my firm. I have taken continuing education courses, written exams, completed major projects, achieved nationally and globally recognized professional designations, and have been working my butt off in order to achieve this goal.
Q: What is the biggest obstacle you’ve overcome?
A: At the beginning of June, our unborn son was diagnosed with a severe form of Ebstein’s anomaly, a rare heart disease. After he was born, his recovery roller coaster put all of our strength and determination to the test. My wife and I relied on each other greatly to push through. This chapter of our lives, as turbulent as it has been, has brought us closer together as a family, and has shown us that we can persevere through any situation.
Q: What are 3 things you can’t live without?
A: Obviously, my wife Lesley, my daughter Zoey, and my son Everett.
Q: What would be the theme song of your life?
A: “I Can’t Stop” by Flux Pavillion
Q: What is the most rewarding part of your job?
A: The most rewarding part of my job is that I get to watch people enjoy the spaces that we create. Whether it’s elementary school students enjoying a new library, or a local business owner investing in his community with a commercial plaza, I love watching our projects come to life, and even experience them for myself. My job is different every single day, and I love it!
