Honouring 40 of North Bay's Young Leaders

It's hard not to be impressed by the accomplishments of the 40 young leaders profiled in this special magazine. And it's hard not to be inspired by their genuine love and respect for this city.

When this year's 40 under Forty winners were asked what they loved most about North Bay, their answers were as varied as their careers, but they all had positive, complimentary comments.

"I love that the only time I get stuck in traffic is in the Tim Hortons' drive-thru on my way to work. Add that to the beautiful setting, and I've found a place to call home," says one of this year's winners Another says, "I found my way back to North Bay about three years ago. I can't express the amount of gratitude I have for my community for welcoming me back with open arms."

The awards program is designed to recognize and thank some of North Bay's inspiring young leaders.

These 40 winners of North Bay's first 40 under Forty Awards program have either stayed to build their lives here, moved here to build their lives here, or have moved back home after being away. Their contributions are valuable to the future of this city.

We honour doctors, scientists, entrepreneurs, managers, teachers, civil servants, and dozens of other professionals who deserve appreciation and encouragement to continue to work and live in this great city.
