Q: What motivates you?
A: My strong sense of personal responsibility has been a big motivator for me.
Q: If you could meet anyone in the world who would it be?
A: I would love to meet Shania Twain. She is one of Northern Ontario's biggest success stories, and she exemplifies how anything is possible when you work hard and dedicate yourself to making your life better and improving your circumstances. She is quite inspiring.
Q: What do you enjoy about living in Northern Ontario?
A: There are actually two things I really enjoy: the wonderful people and the inimitable quality of life. I don't think I truly appreciated how great it is to live in Northern Ontario until a job opportunity forced me to move to Southern Ontario. It wasn't long before I realized just what I had left behind.
Q: What did you want to be when you grew up?
A: When I was young, I passionately wanted to be a veterinarian. I love animals, and as a child I definitely thought being a vet would be the most wonderful job in the world.
Q: What makes you happy?
A: Helping people build better lives—for themselves and for others—makes me happy, and seeing the things I do make a difference drives me to work harder.
