Terra Glabb (BCom) is the director of business development at Greater Sudbury Airport. She played key roles in rebranding the airport, and attracting Porter Airlines to Sudbury. Bilingual, she teaches business management courses at Collège Boréal. A founding executive member of YPA, she volunteers with many community organizations.
Q: What motivates you?
A: There is no greater motivator than knowing what I am doing may make a small difference to someone.
Q: If you could meet anyone in the world who would it be?
A: Richard Branson is a brilliant entrepreneur and a branding genius who has never been afraid to think outside the box. He seems to find inspiration from the most unexpected sources and isn't afraid to try his hand at anything once. He believes in innovation, social responsibility, empowering employees and having fun in the process.
Q: What do you enjoy about living in Northern Ontario?
A: Northerners seem to have a unique kindness that's tough to find anywhere else in the world.
Q: What did you want to be when you grew up?
A: A marine biologist and I still have an incredible fascination with all aquatic life.
Q: What makes you happy?
A: My two-year -old boxer, Knox. I can come home to a heel missing on my favourite pair of shoes, and when I see his guilty face, I still smile. It's unconditional love, at its finest.
