In addition
to his family practice of more than 4,000 patients,
Pierre and three other doctors own and operate Northwood
Medical Clinic to provide health services to orphaned
patients, people without doctors. He was president of
the Sudbury and District Medical Society for three years,
and is one of the youngest physicians to sit on the
board of directors of the Ontario Medical Association.
The 38-year-old father of four was educated at the University
of Ottawa. Fully bilingual, he is an assistant professor
of family medicine at the Northern Ontario School of
Medicine.
